On Friday, Napoli CF announced the signing of striker Samia Adam. Born in 1996, Adam joins Napoli from Galatasaray SK, where she was the captain last season. Adam was born in Palo Alto, California in the United States of America and attended the University of the Pacific, where she played NCAA football. Two Napoli players were in action on Thursday: Piotr Zielinski and Stanislav Lobotka. Piotr Zielinski Zielinski played 86 minutes in Poland’s 0-2 defeat at the hands of the Netherlands. However, Zielinski was one of the few bright spots for Poland in the defeat. With the domestic leagues pausing for the international break, 15 Napoli players have been called up for international duty. Five players have been called up by Roberto Mancini's Italy squad: Alex Meret, Giovanni Di Lorenzo, Alessio Zerbin, Matteo Politano and Giacomo Raspadori.
