Matteo Politano walked off the pitch in the 20th minute of Napoli’s friendly against Girona FC, clutching his left calf. On Wednesday, SSC Napoli confirmed that Politano suffered a calf strain, but did not indicate the severity of the injury. A Grade 1 calf strain, the least severe of the three classifications of calf strains, takes approximately two weeks to recover from.
