On July 26th, SC Braga officially announced the signing of ex-Napoli defender Marie-Aurelle Awona. The Cameroon international joined Napoli at the start of the 2021/22 campaign and made 13 appearances, 10 from the first minute.  The French-born Cameroon international was afforded little playing time by coach Alessandro Pistolesi during the first half of the campaign. On Tuesday, FC Basel announced the signing of ex-Napoli player Lana Golob. The move comes as no surprise, as Golob bid farewell to Napoli CF in early July after the club was relegated to Serie B. On Friday, Napoli Femminile announced the signing of midfielder Michela Franco. Franco returns to Napoli, after playing for the Partenopee in 2012/13. The veteran midfielder, who’s also capable of playing as a central defender, has accumulated a total of 192 appearances in Serie A with Torino, Napoli, Riviera di Romagna, Cuneo and Juventus. During her time at Juventus, Franco won three league titles, a Coppa Italia and a Supercoppa Italiana. Emma Errico and Arianna Acuti are the newest players of Parma Calcio 1913. Both Errico and Acuti confirmed their respective transfers on July 25th via Instagram. On July 2nd, the Chicago Red Stars announced the signing of ex-Napoli central defender Emily Garnier. With the move, Garnier returns home to the United States of America. Prior to moving to Europe, the Colorado native played for four years with the Colorado School of Mines. During her time there, Garnier won the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) Player of the Year and Defensive Player of the Year. On July 24th, Napoli Femminile announced its official partnership Caserta Calcio Femminile. Caserta, who play in the Eccelenza, are the first club to be affiliated with Napoli. Through this partnership, Napoli President Alessandro Maiello continues to grow Napoli’s focus on the youth sector, a core principle established by former President Raffaele Carlino. “We are proud and proud of this collaboration with Napoli Female. Napoli Femminile confirmed the club’s coaching staff on Saturday. Working alongside head coach Dimitri Lipoff will be: Assistant Coach, Pasquale Illiano; Goalkeeper Coach, Andrea Cerboneschi; and Team Manager, Manuela De Luca. Cerboneschi was already part of the Partenopee staff, while Illiano and De Luca have been promoted from the Primavera. The entire coaching staff was greeted by club President Alessandro Maiello, Sporting Director Biagio Seno and General Manager Marco Zwingauer.
