Serie C club F.C. Pro Vercelli 1892 have signed two Napoli Primavera players on loan. The Piemontese club won the race for Antonio Vergara amidst interest from numerous clubs, including Cesena, Pescara and Vis Pesaro. Born in 2003, Vergara was arguably Napoli U19’s best player in 2021/22. In his breakout season, Vergara scored two goals and added 13 assists in all competitions, despite missing five matches due to a hip injury. Giuseppe D’Agostino has officially joined Serie C club S.S. Juve Stabia on a loan transfer. Born in 2003, D’Agostino spent the last two seasons with Napoli’s primavera squad. In 2020/21, he scored four goals and added 10 assists in 20 appearances, helping the Azzurrini earn promotion to Primavera 1. D’Agostino scored five goals and added five assists in 33 appearances in 2021/22.
