On Tuesday, Lega Serie A issued Official Communication No. 45 for the fifth round matches of the 2022/23 Serie A campaign contested between September 3rd and 5th. Three days after conceding a stoppage time winner to Sassuolo U19, Napoli Primavera conceded in the 91st minute to suffer a 1-0 defeat to Frosinone. The match on Sunday was Napoli's third out of four against direct rivals, after opening the season with matches against Lecce and Cesena. Though the first half was fairly uneventful, Frosinone looked the more likely side to score throughout the match.
