On July 2nd, the Chicago Red Stars announced the signing of ex-Napoli central defender Emily Garnier. With the move, Garnier returns home to the United States of America. Prior to moving to Europe, the Colorado native played for four years with the Colorado School of Mines. During her time there, Garnier won the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) Player of the Year and Defensive Player of the Year. On July 24th, Napoli Femminile announced its official partnership Caserta Calcio Femminile. Caserta, who play in the Eccelenza, are the first club to be affiliated with Napoli. Through this partnership, Napoli President Alessandro Maiello continues to grow Napoli’s focus on the youth sector, a core principle established by former President Raffaele Carlino. “We are proud and proud of this collaboration with Napoli Female. We are convinced that the growth process involves affiliation with important companies that have been expressing themselves for years in the Campania region with great professionalism”

Napoli Femminile confirmed the club’s coaching staff on Saturday. Working alongside head coach Dimitri Lipoff will be: Assistant Coach, Pasquale Illiano; Goalkeeper Coach, Andrea Cerboneschi; and Team Manager, Manuela De Luca. Cerboneschi was already part of the Partenopee staff, while Illiano and De Luca have been promoted from the Primavera. On July 15th, Napoli Femminile announced their fifth signing in the span of only seven days. Tasselli hasn’t played for Napoli Femminile since the second half of the 2019/20 campaign, when she took over for an injured Catalina Perez.
