On Wednesday, Napoli Femminile announced the signing of striker Elisa del Estal Mateu. Born in 1993, the Santander-native boasts a long track record of scoring goals, both in the Spanish Liga but also for short period in South Korea. After two seasons in Albacete, Elisa del Estal moved to Espanyol of Barcelona, where she scored 23 goals in three-and-a-half seasons, including double-digit goals during the 2018-2019 campaign. Napoli to Play Friendly Against Villareal

After the friendly matches against Antalyaspor and Crystal Palace in Turkey, Napoli will welcome Villareal to the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona for a third friendly match before the Serie A campaign resumes in January. Ex-Napoli players Pepe Reine and Raul Albiol will be amongst the participants for the match, scheduled to be played on December the 17th at 20:30 local time (14:30 EST).

Napoli resumed training on Wednesday, two-and-a-half weeks after the Serie A campaign paused for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, and one day before the club departs for Turkey. SSC Napoli have revealed new Christmas-themed merchandise on the club’s official web store. Two weeks after launching the Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer kit for children, an adult version of the kit has been made available as well. Two Napoli players squared off at FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 on Tuesday, as Poland played against Mexico in Group C. Hirving Lozano played the full 90 minutes, lined up on the right wing in Mexico’s 4-3-3 formation. Lozano played very close to the touch line, as Gerardo Martino hoped to stretch Poland’s back five.
