Double Blow for Flamengo

Two former Napoli players have signed with Club de Regatas do Flamengo, commonly know as Flemango.

First, striker Soledad James made the return trip to to Brazil, having played for Foz Cataras Futebol Clube, São Paulo Futebol Clube and Santos Futebol Clube between 2015 and 2017.

The Argentinian struggled to make an impact at Napoli, scoring only two goals in 14 appearances. She missed the start of the season due to a lengthy registration process. She also missed three matches due to suspension after sharing some choice words for the match official after Napoli’s controversial defeat to Sampsodia.

Sole was one of the first Napoli players to depart from the club after their relegation to Serie B. Not far behind was third keeper Kelly Chiavaro.

Playing behind two excellent goalkeepers in Rachele Baldi and Yolanda Aguirre, Chiavaro only featured once for Napoli in the Coppa Italia.
