Alessandra Nencioni has joined the Napoli Femminile technical staff in the role of Team Manager. Nencioni is a former Napoli player, earning promotion to Serie A in 2019/20. Here is the official statement from the club.
Alessandra Nencioni is the new team manager of Napoli Feminine. Pillar of the blue formation in the 2019/2020 season – which ended with promotion to Serie A -, “Nencio” then ended her career as a footballer to undertake that as a manager. On the playing field, Alessandra was a protagonist for many seasons both in Italy and in the States and even before hanging up her boots she started studying for her new profession. After graduating in marketing and sport sponsorship at the Johan Cruyff institute, last year she held the position of team manager at Genoa CFC Woman. Now the “return home” in the shadow of Vesuvius.
In the meantime, Biagio Seno and Marco Zwingauer have been confirmed in their roles as Coach and General Manager, respectively.
Seno assumed the role of coach with 11 matches remaining in the 2022/23 campaign, earning 10 wins and a draw. Zwingauer commences his third season with the club after joining in December 2021.
