As reported by Corriere del Mezzogiorno, Napoli have already collected €65.4 million from this year’s UEFA Champions League, including, but not limited to:
- Market Pool for finishing third in the 2021/22 Serie A campaign: €4.00 million;
- Group Stage Qualification: €15.64 million;
- Historical ranking: €18.20 million;
- Victories in Group Stage: €14.00 million; and
- Advancement to the Round of 16: €9.60 million
Napoli would earn an additional €10.6 million by winning their Quarterfinal tie against Eintracht Frankfurt and €30 million if they continue their incredible form in Serie A and win the Scudetto.
On Tuesday evening, club President Aurelio De Laurentiis treated the players, coaching staff, medical staff and Sporting Director Cristiano Giuntoli to dinner at popular steakhouse Braceria La Baita. According to Gazzetta dello Sport, De Laurentiis promised the players an additional bonuses for advancement in the Champions League, beyond the bonuses already embedded in the players contracts for winning the Scudetto, but the Napoli owner did not reveal the amounts.
