UPbit New Back-of-Shirt Sponsor

On Monday, SSC Napoli announced a new partnership with Dunamu Inc. The South Korean fintech company owns the Upbit brand, a global leading digital asset exchange.

According to the club’s official post, “In December 2018, Upbit was listed by the Blockchain Transparency Institute as the world’s third largest exchange by trading volume and has received certifications from renowned international organizations operating in the field of internal information security.”

Upbit will be the club’s official global crypto-exchange partner and back-of-shirt sponsor for all Serie A, Coppa Italia and friendly matches, beginning with the match on Wednesday against Inter and ending at the end of the 2023/24 campaign.

Napoli’s Chief International Development Officer, Tommaso Bianchini, commented on the partnership.

“We are thrilled to have reached an agreement with South Korean company Dunamu, an industry leader and a rapidly growing company in the Asian market. The partnership certifies the union of two companies in strong expansion in their respective sectors, to underline the desire to develop a project whose center is innovation and technology. The agreement also confirms the club’s attention to international markets and the most advanced technologies, with a view to constantly improving our brand on a global level.

“We are delighted to welcome Upbit to our family and look forward to working together to expand our presence in South Korea.”

Dunamu CEO Sirgoo Lee also commented on the agreement.

“Dunamu is delighted to announce this new partnership with SSC Napoli, one of the most prestigious football clubs in the world. We are very grateful for the welcome received and we are thrilled to embark on this journey together with SSC Napoli, where South Korean defender Kim Min-jae plays, among others. Our goal is to initiate new and meaningful collaborations throughout the season.”
