Rrahmani Potentially Out Until 2023

On Tuesday, SSC Napoli confirmed that Amir Rrahmani suffered a lesion/strain of the adductor longus tendon of the left thigh during Napoli’s 1-4 victory over Cremonese on Sunday.

Though the club did not reveal the severity of the injury, Rrahmani could be out until the 2023. The Serie A campaign will pause in November for the World Cup, but Napoli play nine matches in all competitions before then:

  • October 12, 2022 – AFC Ajax (UEFA Champions League)
  • October 16, 2022 – Bologna FC
  • October 23, 2022 – AS Roma
  • October 26, 2022 – Rangers FC (UEFA Champions League)
  • October 29, 2022 – US Sassuolo
  • November 1, 2022 – Liverpool FC (UEFA Champions League)
  • November 5, 2022 – Atalanta BC
  • November 8, 2022 – Empoli FC
  • November 12, 2022 – Udinese
