Ex-Napoli player Arkadiusz Milik arrived in Turin on Thursday ahead of his transfer from Olympique de Marseille to Juventus FC.
According to transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio, the Poland international will join Juventus on a season-long loan for €1 million. The bianconeri will have an option to purchase the striker for €7 million.
Milik spent four years at Napoli, scoring 48 goals in 122 appearances in all competitions. The forward, who joined Napoli from Ajax Amsterdam in 2016, was sidelined for the majority of his first two seasons at Napoli due to two serious knee injuries.
In 2020, Milik was frozen out of Napoli after refusing a transfer away from gli Azzurri with one year remaining on his contract. With UEFA Euro 2020 postponed to 2021, Milik accepted a transfer to Marseille in January of 2021. The deal included a 30% sell-on fee, which means Napoli will earn €2.1 million if Juventus exercise their option to buy.
