On July 25th, Napoli Femminile announced the acquisition of goalkeeper Chiara Repetti. Born in 2003, Repetti began her football career with Novese FC in Serie B.
She then played for Florentia Pimavera, who reached the playoffs in 2020/21. Repetti was subsequently purchased by Empoli, who loaned her to Cittadella for the first half of the 2021/22 campaign, and Lucchese for the second half.
In 2019, Repetti was loaned to Napoli to compete in and ultimately win the Arco di Trento tournament. That squad was coached by Pasquale Illiano, who is now Assistant Coach at Napoli.
“After that brief experience, I am delighted to be back in the Azzurri jersey. For me it will be a year of important growth in a consolidated reality of women’s football and with experienced colleagues from whom I will have a lot to learn. I can’t wait to start this new adventure.”
