The UEFA Champions League Group Stage draw was completed at the Grimaldi Forum in Monaco on Thursday. Napoli were drawn into Group C, alongside Real Madrid, Braga and Union Berlin.
The Spanish giants, coached by ex-Napoli manager Carlo Ancelotti, were the strongest club in Pot 2. However, with Braga and Union Berlin, who are competing in the competition for the first time, Napoli are expected to advance to the Knockout Stage.
Inter Milan are also expected to advance from Group D after drawing Benfica, Salzburg and Real Sociedad. Lazio could advance from Group E, which appears to be the weakest group, featuring Feyenoord, Atletico Madrid and Celtic. Meanwhile, Milan are in an extremely difficult group, Group F, which boasts PSG, Borussia Dortmund and Newcastle.
