On Monday, SSC Napoli confirmed that Gianluca Gaetano suffered a fracture of the fifth metatarsal in his left foot during Sunday’s match against Sampdoria. The Napoli midfielder, who registered three shots on target within minutes of entering the match, will undergo surgery within the next few days. The recovery time is expected to be 6-8 weeks.
