On Friday, PSV Eindhoven confirmed the signing of Hirving Lozano, who returns to the Dutch club after four seasons at Napoli.
“PSV have completed the signing of Hirving Lozano from SSC Napoli. The club and winger have reached agreement over a five-year deal. During his previous stint in the Philips Stadion from 2017-19, the Mexican became the darling of the crowd.
Hirving ‘Chucky’ Lozano was a hit in the Dutch top light. His performances did not go unnoticed and he left PSV for SSC Napoli, who were quick to spot his talent. He had an amazing season in the major city in the south of Italy last year: Gli Azzurri clinched their first Serie A title for 33 years. Lozano scored thirty goals and had seventeen assists in 155 appearances for Napoli.
With the return of the devastatingly fast winger, PSV welcome back another Mexican player in their squad. Hirving needs no introduction in the Netherlands. He scored seventeen goals in the 2017-2018 Eredivisie season, helping PSV to win the title. He scored 40 goals in 79 matches for PSV and had twenty assists to his name.”
During his time at Napoli, the Mexican scored 30 goals and tallied 17 assists in 155 appearances across all competitions.
