Napoli Fined €8,000 for Fans Throwing Various Objects onto the Pitch, Udinese Fined as Well

On Friday, Lega Serie A issued Official Communication No. 210 for the 32nd round of matches of the 2022/23 Serie A campaign contested on the 4th of March. These are the words of Sports Judge Gerardo Mastandrea, assisted by Stefania Ginesio and by representative of the AIA Carlo Moretti:

“Fine of €8,000 to SSC Napoli for its supporters throwing a flare, three smoke bombs and other objects of various kinds onto the pitch during the match; also for throwning two smoke bombs onto the pitch-side; mitigated sanction pursuant to art. 29, paragraph 1 lett. b) CGS.”

Meanwhile, Udinese were fined as well.

“Fine of €2,000 to Udinese Calcio for its supporters, in the 6th minute of the second half, singing an offensive chorus towards the coach of the opposing team”
