On Monday, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia was named the best Georgian footballer at the GFF Awards 2022. The Napoli left winger beat out Giorgi Mamardashvili and Guran Kashia to earn the award for the third time.
Due to his commitments with Napoli, Kvaratskhelia was not at the Sheraton Grand Hotel Tbilisi Metekhi Palace to receive the award in person. Instead, he made his acceptance speech via video feed.
Kvaratskhelia will return to training on December 27th to begin preparations for Napoli’s biggest match of the season – a trip to the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza to take on third-placed Internazionale.
