On November 22nd, Neopolitan band Foja released a new video for Santa Lucia featuring rap artist Clementino. The song first appeared as the fourth track on Foja’s latest album, Miracoli e Rivoluzioni (Miracles and Revolutions). In addition to Clementino, the video features actress Isa Danieli.

“Santa Lucia” is a poignant ballad , with modern sounds and a classical structure which, through romantic storytelling, tells the life of a woman, Lucia (played by Isa Danieli), “who takes life and piety without fear”
resisting, fighting, loving and forgiving . Supported by the incursion of Clementino, “Santa Lucia” manifests atmospheres full of pathos: a festive and variegated procession, composed of figures that represent the
multiplicity of the human soul, accompanies the “Lady” enthroned, flanked by the figure of a modern Pulcinella (played by Clementino) on his last journey from his small “vascio” to eternal light.
