Giacomo Raspadori is officially an SSC Napoli player. On Thursday, the forward finally arrived at Villa Stuart to complete his medicals after a prolonged negotiation for his transfer.
The former Sassuolo forward will join Napoli on a €5 million loan with an obligation to buy for €25 million, plus bonuses. According to Gazzetta dello Sport, the transfer fee will be paid in three annual installments.
Additionally, Sassuolo could earn up to €5 million in bonuses: €2 million related to goals and assists and €3 million related to Champions League qualification, both over the term of the 5-year contract. Meanwhile, Raspadori is expected to earn a salary of €2.5 million net.
Born in 2000, Raspadori is a product of the Sassuolo youth system, earning promotion to the senior team in 2019. Now entering his fourth full season in Serie A, Raspadori has consistently improved season over season.
