On Sunday, Chievo Verona Women FC officially announced the signing of ex-Napoli CF defender Heden Corrado on loan from AS Roma. Born in 2002, Corrado spent one season on loan at Napoli, where she made 11 appearances (nine of which were from the first minute).
Injuries have slowed Corrado’s development during her young career, but thinks she can learn from the experience.
“Unfortunately I suffered various injuries that made me stay away from the pitch for a while, but I always came back. I think they are unique moments in which you feel so many emotions all together that you don’t know how to describe them. These are satisfactions that I will carry with me forever together with the experience that marks you, hoping to experience others in the future”
Chievo are in Serie B, so the Italy U23 international will play against her former club during the 2022/23 campaign. After suffering relegation with Napoli, Corrado is eager to return to Serie A.
“I really hope it is the season of redemption, the Coach is very good and will certainly help me to work and grow from all points of view. I will try to do my best and make myself available to the team to achieve great results.”
