On Tuesday, Napoli Femminile announced the signing of Lucia Strisciuglio. Born in 1999, Strisciuglio has been a long-time player of Pink Bari.
Though only 23 years old, the midfielder has already accumulated 140 appearances over eight seasons with Pink Bari, both in Serie A and Serie B.
Along with Giulia Ferrandi, Strisciuglio will occupy one of the two midfield positions vacated by Eleonora Goldoni, who transferred to Sassuolo, and Emma Errico, who recently joined Parma.
Like many of the new arrivals at Napoli, Strisciuglio is motivated by Napoli’s project and is eager to make a contribution.
“I am very happy to arrive in the Azzurri jersey also because I will find some companions from past years. I know how difficult the task that awaits us is but also how much motivation the Napoli managers have who intend to bring the Italian club back to where it deserves. I hope to make my contribution to the cause, as always”
