On Tuesday, ACF Fiorentina officially announced the signing of ex-Napoli winger Kaja Erzen.Erzen joined Napoli at the start of the 2021/22 campaign, scoring one goal and adding an assist in 20 appearances for the Azzurre.
The Slovenian international has signed a two-year contract with La Viola, expiring in 2024. Fiorentina is Erzen’s fourth Serie A club in the six seasons. She spend two seasons with each of A.S.D. U.P.C. Tavagnacco and A.S. Roma before joining Napoli.
The announcement comes a day after Fiorentina officially announced the signing of goalkeeper Rachele Baldi. Baldi joined Napoli in January on loan from Roma and almost immediately displaced Yolanda Aguirre as the first choice goalkeeper. In her eight appearances for Napoli, she conceded only one goal per game and recorded one clean sheet.
Baldi missed the final three matches of the 2021/22 campaign due to injury.
